Balsa Research relies on donations from individuals and foundations to fund our important work. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all contributions to Balsa Research are tax-deductible. Every dollar helps us commission academic studies, draft model legislation, run experiments, and work with lawmakers to turn proposals into laws.

We use every.org as an an intermediary 501(c)(3) charity to process most of our online donations and provide tax receipts. They don’t charge fees of their own and won’t take a cut of your donation; they are supported by tips and philanthopy.
There are no third party fees for bank transfers, stock donations, and DAF donations. Credit cards and all other payment methods listed above have their own third party transaction fees.
